What's Included

Enter our camp, and you will see an open, L-shaped kitchen. The kitchen is tastefully equipped with small appliances, including an electric coffee maker, microwave oven and toaster. The stove is gas (great for the gourmet cook!) and the large, spacious refrigerator is electric. All of your dishes, flatware, and cookware are provided. You may also cook your meals outdoors - a gas grill is provided for your enjoyment. The bathroom is also located off the kitchen, and features a shower, but no tub.

Adjacent to the kitchen, you will find a dining area, with a table large enough to accommodate four to six persons. There is also a linen cabinet, holding enough fresh linens for your visit with us. And talk about the views! Views, views, views.... the dining room and living room area both overlook the water. You will also find a door here, which leads onto a spacious exterior deck. again, overlooking the water. Spend the early evening on the deck, observing the scenery at your fingertips, and then retreat inside as darkness approaches, for an old fashioned board game (many are provided for your enjoyment), a puzzle, or a good book.

As night falls, you might choose to curl up in the comfortable overstuffed couch or armchair, located in the carpeted living room. Or, perhaps you would enjoy relaxing in the recliner while watching a movie on the VCR player, or your favorite documentary on the satellite television. The views of the water from the living room may be enough to lull even the most troubled soul to sleep, but don't stop here, as comfortable beds await you!

There is one carpeted bedroom downstairs, with a queen-size bed and bureau. You may choose to sleep here, and listen to the sounds of the babbling brook outside of your window - perhaps you will even wake up to the sight of a moose or a black bear looking in at you - it's happened before!

If you're feeling adventurous, climb the stairs to the second floor, where you will find the Master bedroom. It also is carpeted, and features a queen-size bed and a single bed. And, views, views, views! Sleep here, and wake up to a stunning sunrise over the water, and the sounds of chirping birds, and occasionally a loon calling mournfully over the water. Around the corner, you will find the third of our bedrooms, this one featuring a full-size bed. Please note that some areas of the upstairs remain unfinished (unpainted walls). We continue to make improvements in these areas, but they should be noted.

There is limited telephone service available at the camp. You can make local and emergency calls, but will need to use a credit card for long distance calls. Sorry, internet service is not available at this time.

Step outdoors off the deck, and a spacious, tiered lawn awaits you. Please take advantage of the assorted outdoor games available for you, some of which may include volleyball, badminton, horse shoes and lawn darts. And, of course, the water! Whether you are up to taking a swim off our dock, in the cool clear water, or you choose to explore the pond, you will have access to a canoe and rowboat for your usage. A limited number of life jackets (PDF's) are provided, and are required by State law. Enjoy the water, but please remember - safety first! You may want to bring extra of these items - always plan on wearing one! An outdoor fire pit, which overlooks the water, and cookout firewood are also provided for your enjoyment. Perfect for toasting marshmallows or S'mores!
