Cabot Cheese

Visit the Visitors Center in Cabot, where they began making award winning Cabot cheese in 1919! You can join a factory tour, and watch talented cheese makers create their cheeses and enjoy plenty of samples - all in one of the most scenic spots in America. Visitors to the factory say the drive alone is worth it! You'll learn a ton about cheese-making, and Cabot's history - not to mention a bit about Vermont agriculture.

Maple Grove Farms - Tour & Factory
Sample the sweetness of Vermont Maple Candy on the factory tour! Visit the gift shop, and see how maple syrup is made.
VT Granite Quarries
Experience the Rock of Ages! Take a narrated shuttle tour to the world’s largest deep-hole, dimension granite quarry—a quarry nearly 600 feet deep! Our artisans will amaze you when you take our self-guided factory tour. From hand pitching to laser etching, the factory tour allows you to observe the oldest and the latest: hand-dressing and sculpting techniques that have remained virtually unchanged for centuries juxtaposed against modern circular diamond saws and laser etchers.

Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium
Northern New England's premiere museum of natural history, and home to the first and only public planetarium in the state.
Art Gallery & Athenaeum
Built In 1873, it is now the oldest art gallery still in its original form in the United States. Daily tours.
Vermont Corn Maze
A truly unique experience!

Wildlife Viewing
Visit a national fish and wildlife refuge designed to protect the diversity and abundance of native species within the Connecticut River watershed!
Theater & The Arts

Not for the faint of heart, Glover, VT is home to the famous Bread & Puppet theater group. Visit their museum, and see a production of their larger-than-life puppets, and their take on the political pulse of the world. May not be suitable for all age groups.

Granby Zoo

Bring your passports, and get ready for a day of fun! A short few hours drive from the camp, visit Canada's Granby Zoo! See lions, tigers, bears, giraffes, and hundreds of other species! There is also a water park. One of our favorite day-trips!

Catamount Arts

Bringing film, live theater and the arts to the Northeast Kingdom. Be sure to check out the schedule of events, and see what's going on during your stay!
